MySofa U-shaped sofa Alma | beige chenille | 336 cm

A 336 cm wide U-shaped sofa turns your living room into one large lounge area. The MySofa Alma U-shaped sofa combines that generous size with the soft, rounded shapes for which the series is known. In warm beige, despite its size, it looks light and inviting.

What makes the Alma's design special?

The Alma is MySofa's most organic series. The corner elements are rounded, and the ottoman is fully rounded on the outside, without an armrest. This makes this U-shaped configuration look open and airy instead of massive, despite its size. A fine decorative stitch runs along the seams of the seat cushions, accentuating the shape. The base is upholstered to the floor, so the sofa stands calmly in the room instead of on visible legs.

How comfortable is this sofa?

This U-shaped configuration consists of four elements: a round lounge on the left, a 2.5-seater, a corner element, and a round ottoman on the right. With a seat height of 46 cm, it's easy to get up, and the seat depth of 60 cm gives you plenty of room to sink back. The armrest is 58 cm high and 21 cm wide, just enough for your cup of coffee or an open book. Matching decorative cushions, 45 by 45 cm, can be ordered separately for € 29.95 each.

What does the Cremona fabric look like?

The upholstery is Cremona, a finely woven chenille from Polish Davis Fabrics. Unlike many chenilles, Cremona has a flat and calm appearance, with a subtle linen look in the weave. No rib, no loop, and no pile, allowing the fabric to effortlessly conform to the shape of the sofa. At 465 grams per square meter, it is a sturdy quality, and Cremona achieves the highest score in the entire MySofa collection for lightfastness testing. This makes it a sensible choice for a light-filled south-facing room. The fabric has been tested for cigarette glow and carries the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 label.

How is the MySofa Alma constructed?

Under the upholstery is a solid beech wood internal frame. The no-sag springs distribute your weight evenly over the entire seating surface, so you don't feel any hard spots or sagging. The H4 cold foam filling springs back into shape after each use, and a dacron top layer gives the seat its soft finish. The legs are made of plastic and are concealed under the upholstery. You receive a 5-year warranty on the construction.

How to keep Cremona beautiful?

Regularly wipe the fabric with a slightly damp cloth and immediately blot up spilled liquids, working from the outside in. For stubborn stains, use a suitable textile cleaner. Cremona is not machine washable. Thanks to its high lightfastness, you can place this sofa in a sunny room without worries.

What interior style suits this beige U-shaped sofa?

The calm, flat appearance of Cremona makes this sofa a neutral base that you can combine in many ways. For a sleek interior, combine with white, black, and a concrete-look floor. If you're aiming for warmth, natural wood, wool, and ceramics work excellently. With a U-shaped configuration, always place a large rug that extends under all elements, which visually unifies the separate parts. A round coffee table in the middle keeps the walkways clear.

Who is this U-shaped sofa suitable for?

A 336 cm wide U-shaped configuration requires space. Allow for a living room of at least 28 square meters, so there is sufficient walking space on all sides. Beforehand, outline the dimensions on the floor with masking tape, and you'll immediately see how the room will look. This sofa is the choice for anyone who likes to entertain guests or have movie nights with the whole family, as everyone has their own corner without getting in each other's way.

Prefer a different size, fabric, or configuration?

The Alma is a modular series. In addition to this version, you can have it custom-made to your exact specifications, from a compact armchair to a generous U-shaped configuration with a round ottoman or trapezoid element. You decide the width, which side the chaise lounge goes on, and which fabric to use, with a choice of eleven fabric qualities and over a hundred colors. Create your own Alma in the sofa configurator and receive a no-obligation custom quote.
