Warranty
You buy furniture or a lamp to enjoy for years. That's why we work almost exclusively with A-brands and every product comes with a warranty. On this page, you can read which warranty applies, when you can claim it, and how to submit a report.
- Always statutory warranty
- Almost exclusively A-brands
- We handle it with the manufacturer
Two types of warranty
Statutory warranty: always applicable
All our products are covered by the statutory warranty. This means that a product must do what you can reasonably expect from it. A dining table should remain sturdy for years, and a lamp should simply light up.
If a product breaks down or doesn't work as it should within a reasonable period, we will work together to find a suitable solution:
- Repair or a replacement part
- Replacement with a new item
- Full or partial refund
Which solution is appropriate depends on the product and the situation. We always consult with you to determine what works best.
Manufacturer's warranty: varies by brand
Because we sell almost exclusively A-brands, nearly every product also comes with a manufacturer's warranty. The duration varies by brand and product:
- 1 or 2 years for most home accessories, lighting, and furniture
- 5 or 10 years for various quality furniture and constructions
- Lifetime warranty for some brands on specific components
The applicable warranty period is stated on the product page, so you can check it before your purchase. If a manufacturer's warranty applies, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer for you. You don't have to chase a supplier yourself.
When is a problem covered by warranty?
Warranty is intended for manufacturing and material defects. For example:
- A product that does not function as intended
- A part that comes loose or breaks during normal use
- A defect not caused by wear and tear
- A seam, weld, or bond that comes loose on its own
Exceptions and limitations
Warranty does not apply or is limited in situations such as:
- Wear and tear or incorrect assembly and use that deviates from the manual
- Wear and tear from normal use, such as lamps, batteries, coatings, and upholstery that wears out
- Damage due to falling, impact, moisture, heat, improper maintenance, or unsuitable cleaning products
- Modifications or repairs performed by yourself or third parties
- Damage due to commercial, improper, or extreme use
- Discoloration due to sunlight or natural material effects, for example, variations in wood or natural stone, insofar as this is inherent to the product
Please note: with furniture, lighting, and home accessories, small color differences may occur due to screen settings or the incidence of light in your home. Natural materials such as wood and marble also always have their own unique pattern. This is inherent to the product and is not covered by the warranty.

Frequently asked questions about warranty
How much warranty do I have on my product?
That varies by brand and product. Most items have 1 or 2 years manufacturer's warranty. For various quality furniture, this can be up to 5 or 10 years, and some brands even offer a lifetime warranty on certain components.
The applicable term is stated on the product page. In addition, every product always has a statutory warranty, even if the manufacturer's warranty has expired.
What is the difference between statutory warranty and manufacturer's warranty?
Statutory warranty is a right you always have. It means that a product must do what you can reasonably expect from it, given the price and type of product. There is no fixed term: you can expect longer enjoyment from an expensive dining table than from a cheap candle holder.
Manufacturer's warranty is an additional promise from the manufacturer, with a fixed duration and its own conditions. This comes on top of your legal rights and does not replace them.
Has your manufacturer's warranty expired? You can still invoke the statutory warranty.
What do you need from me for a warranty claim?
To help you quickly, we would like to receive:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the problem
- Clear photos or a video of the defect, both close-up and of the entire product
- When the problem arose and how the product was used until then
- If possible, a photo of the packaging
With good visual material, we can often immediately assess what is going on, without you having to go through a whole process of back-and-forth emailing.
How long does it take to process a warranty claim?
We assess your report as quickly as possible and always let you know the next steps. If we can solve it ourselves, for example with a replacement part, it usually goes quickly.
If the manufacturer needs to examine it first, it can take longer. In that case, we will keep you informed so you are not left in the dark.
Do I need to return the product for a warranty claim?
Not always. Often, assessment based on photos is sufficient, or we send a replacement part. If the product does need to be returned or a technician needs to visit, we will arrange that and provide clear instructions.
If it is a valid warranty claim, you will not pay any shipping or collection costs.
My product arrived damaged, is that covered by warranty?
Transit damage is not covered by warranty, but we will still resolve it. Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the damage and packaging.
We will then arrange an exchange or replacement, and you will not pay anything for it. You can read more about this on the returns and exchanges page.
I no longer have my order number, can I still claim warranty?
Yes. Send us your name, the email address you used to order, and approximately when you placed the order. We will then look up your order in our system.
You can also find your orders yourself by logging into your customer account.
Does the warranty also apply to commercial use?
Most home products are designed for domestic use. If you place a dining chair in a busy restaurant, the load is many times higher, and the manufacturer's warranty usually expires.
Are you furnishing an office, practice, or hospitality venue? Please contact us in advance. We will be happy to advise you on products suitable for more intensive use and on the warranty conditions that apply to them.
What can I do to keep my furniture looking good for as long as possible?
A few things really make a difference:
- Follow the manufacturer's maintenance instructions and do not use aggressive cleaning agents
- Do not place wooden and leather furniture in direct sunlight to prevent discoloration
- Use coasters on wooden and natural stone tops, especially for hot or damp objects
- Check after a few weeks for self-assembly furniture whether all bolts are still tight
- Regularly rotate loose seat and back cushions so they wear evenly
Besides longer enjoyment, this also prevents damage not covered by warranty.
