Adore Classic Platform Bed Grey – 160x200 cm – Without Mattress

The Adore Classic Grey Platform Bed in 160x200 cm brings the trend of low sleeping to your bedroom: a platform bed that rests directly on the floor without legs, upholstered in teddy bouclé with a fine woolly texture. It features a low headboard with continuous vertical channel stitching all around.

Low sleeping: the platform bed

This bed stands directly on the floor without legs, with a frame height of 28 cm and a sleeping height of 28 cm. This low silhouette, known from Japandi and Wabi-Sabi styles, gives your bedroom visually more height and a serene, uncluttered atmosphere.

Design that sets the tone

The eye-catcher is a low headboard with continuous vertical channel stitching all around. The calm grey tone enhances the serene, architectural character of the low design. The headboard is 75 cm high, 217 cm wide, and 18 cm thick.

Includes slatted bases

This platform bed comes with two separate slatted bases. The resilient slats support your mattress and ensure ventilation at the bottom, which is important for a fresh and dry bed. The slatted bases are recessed 15 cm into the frame, so your mattress stays firmly in place.

Choose your own mattress

This version is supplied as a bed frame without a mattress, so you can choose your ideal mattress in 160x200 cm. A mattress approximately 20 to 26 cm thick looks best in terms of proportions. Do you already have a good mattress? Then it can simply move with you.

Fabric, colour, and finish

The colour is cool stone grey with a light mélange. This calm grey combines beautifully with white, black, and soft pastel shades. The bed is fully upholstered all around. Between the frame and the fabric is a layer of polyether foam with dacron polyester, which makes the upholstery soft and full.

Dimensions that fit

The queen size of 160x200 cm is the most popular among double beds in the Netherlands: spacious for two, fitting in most bedrooms. Good to know: 160x200 cm is the mattress size. For the complete bed, count on approximately 217 cm wide and 228 cm long. So, measure your bedroom to ensure this statement piece gets the space it deserves. The bed can support up to 130 kg per person. This fully upholstered bed, also known as a bedstead or bed frame, proves that less can truly be more.

How to keep it looking good

This woolly fabric requires little maintenance: vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and keep the fabric lint-free. Dab stains immediately with a slightly damp cloth, without rubbing.
