Platform Bed Adore Business Beige – 160x200 cm – Without Mattress

The Adore Business Beige Platform Bed in 160x200 cm brings the trend of low sleeping to your bedroom: a platform bed that rests directly on the floor without legs, upholstered in teddy bouclé with a soft, matte texture. A distinctive feature is an extra-wide platform: the frame extends 40 cm on both sides as generous side borders.

Low sleeping: the platform bed

This bed rests directly on the floor without legs, with a frame height of 31 cm and a sleeping height of 47 cm. This low silhouette, known from Japandi and Wabi-Sabi styles, optically adds height to your bedroom and creates a serene, tidy atmosphere. The frame extends 40 cm per side, giving the platform its generous, framed character.

Design that sets the tone

A striking feature is an extra-wide platform: the frame extends 40 cm on both sides as generous side borders. The wide headboard block, 40 cm thick, and the thick side borders give the bed a monumental, architectural presence. Also convenient: the wide borders function as bedside tables. The headboard is 70 cm high, 240 cm wide, and 40 cm thick. It is delivered in two parts, convenient for narrow staircases and doorways.

Includes footboard

The included footboard (25 cm thick) completes the platform all around and gives the bed its monumental, symmetrical appearance.

Includes slatted bases

This platform bed comes with two separate slatted bases. The resilient slats support your mattress and ensure ventilation on the underside, which is important for a fresh and dry bed.

Choose your own mattress

This version is supplied as a bed frame without a mattress, allowing you to choose your ideal mattress in 160x200 cm. A mattress approximately 20 to 26 cm thick will best complement the proportions. Do you already have a good mattress? Then it can simply move with you.

Fabric, color, and finish

The color is warm off-white, leaning towards ivory. The warm hue combines effortlessly with linen, light wood, and green. The bed is fully upholstered all around. Between the frame and the fabric is a layer of polyether foam with dacron polyester, which makes the upholstery soft and full.

Dimensions that fit

The queen-size of 160x200 cm is the most popular among double beds in the Netherlands: spacious for two, fitting in most bedrooms. Good to know: 160x200 cm is the mattress size. For the complete bed, allow for approximately 240 cm wide and 265 cm long. So, measure your bedroom to ensure this statement piece gets the space it deserves. The bed is load-bearing up to 130 kg per person. This fully upholstered bed, also known as a bedstead or bed frame, proves that less can truly be more.

How to keep it beautiful

This woolly fabric requires little maintenance: vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and keep the fabric lint-free. Dab stains immediately with a slightly damp cloth, without rubbing.
