Platform Bed Adore Classic Anthracite – 160x200 cm – Without Mattress

The Adore Classic Anthracite Platform Bed in 160x200 cm brings the low sleeping trend to your bedroom: a platform bed that stands directly on the floor without legs, upholstered in teddy bouclé with a soft, matte texture. It features a low headboard with vertical channel stitching that extends all around.

Low sleeping: the platform bed

This bed stands directly on the floor without legs, with a frame height of 28 cm and a sleeping height of 28 cm. This low silhouette, known from Japandi and Wabi-Sabi styles, gives your bedroom more optical height and a serene, uncluttered atmosphere.

Design that sets the tone

A striking feature is a low headboard with vertical channel stitching that extends all around. The channel pattern gives the low silhouette rhythm and depth, from headboard to footboard. The headboard is 75 cm high, 217 cm wide, and 18 cm thick.

Includes slatted bases

This platform bed comes with two separate slatted bases. The resilient slats support your mattress and provide ventilation underneath, which is important for a fresh and dry bed. The slatted bases are recessed 15 cm into the frame, so your mattress stays firmly in place.

Choose your own mattress

This version is supplied as a bed frame without a mattress, allowing you to choose your ideal mattress in 160x200 cm. A mattress of approximately 20 to 26 cm thick will look best proportionally. Do you already have a good mattress? Then it can simply be used with this bed.

Fabric, color and finish

The color is deep anthracite grey, even and matte. Anthracite creates a stark contrast with white bedding and warm wood tones. The bed is fully upholstered all around. Between the frame and the fabric is a layer of polyether foam with dacron polyester, which makes the upholstery soft and full.

Dimensions that fit

The queen size of 160x200 cm is the most popular among double beds in the Netherlands: spacious for two, fitting in most bedrooms. Good to know: 160x200 cm is the mattress size. For the complete bed, count on approximately 217 cm wide and 228 cm long. So measure your bedroom to ensure this statement piece gets the space it deserves. The bed can bear up to 130 kg per person. This fully upholstered bed, also known as a bedstead or bed frame, proves that less can truly be more.

How to keep it beautiful

This woolly fabric requires little: vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and keep the fabric lint-free. Dab stains immediately with a slightly damp cloth, without rubbing.
