FOSSANA is the dark grey that sits between grey and black. Not so light that it's ordinary, not so dark that it becomes heavy. A color with depth, for interiors that aren't afraid of a strong tone.

The 100% polyester material gives the FOSSANA an even, fine texture. The dark color in the yarn creates a rich, dense look for the faux fur. To the touch, it is softer and airier than its dark surface suggests.

Place the FOSSANA on mid-century furniture, a dark sofa, or in a bedroom with minimal color for a strong, theatrical effect. Combine with silver-grey, white, or natural-colored cushions to balance the dark hue. On a beige floor, it acts as a dark anchor point for the sofa above it.

Winterhome developed the FOSSANA as part of a collection that consciously does more than just be functional. The synthetic material is durable and colorfast, even in dark shades where fading is most noticeable. Washable and completely free of animal products.

Dark grey throw, when does dark work in your interior?

Dark shades in a living room create intimacy and depth. A dark grey throw like the FOSSANA is an accessible way to add a dark tone without permanently painting or replacing furniture. Combine with light walls and warm light for the best effect.

Faux fur blanket in a dark color, maintenance

Dark throws show lint and hairs more quickly than light ones. Use a lint roller or soft brush to keep the FOSSANA fresh between washes. When washing at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle, the dark grey color remains uniform.

Dramatic interior, color and fabric as instruments

Those who love a dark, dramatic interior use color and texture as conscious instruments. A dark grey faux fur throw like the FOSSANA is one of the easiest ways to add depth. It works on almost any surface and gives the room a richer, more complex feel.
