EcoSmart Fires Ark 40
A round concrete fire pit table with a wide edge, on which you can just as easily place a drink as use it purely as a fire feature. With its understated, round shape, the Ark 40 is an instant eye-catcher, even when the fire is out. Available in Bone (beige), Graphite (dark), Natural (grey) and Teak (real wood). Use it as a coffee table during the day and as a fire table in the evening, on the terrace or in the garden.
Design and appearance
The Ark 40 is made of lightweight concrete composite and has a round shape with a wide, flat edge around the fire bowl. The finish is available in Bone (warm beige), Graphite (sleek dark), Natural (light grey), and Teak (real teak wood), suitable for any style and outdoor environment. With a diameter of 100 cm and a height of 33.9 cm, this is a spacious model that serves well as a focal point for a lounge or seating area.
Eight hours of heat and flame from bio-ethanol
The Ark 40 is equipped with EcoSmart's AB8 burner, fueled by clean-burning e-NRG bio-ethanol. One fill gives you more than eight hours of heat and an enchanting flame pattern, without smoke, soot, or odor nuisance. Refilling is easy with the included jerrycan and bottle adapter.
Indestructible thanks to Fluid™ concrete technology
Thanks to patented Fluid™ technology, the Ark 40's concrete is eight times stronger than ordinary concrete, with a stain- and impact-resistant protective layer. This makes the table resistant to UV radiation, rain, and other weather influences, even with prolonged outdoor use.
Outdoor and indoor use
The Ark 40 is suitable for outdoor use as standard, on a terrace, patio, or in the garden. If you also want to use this product indoors, an Indoor conversion kit is available for an additional €158. This kit includes a drip tray for bio-ethanol, for extra safety indoors. The kit can be selected on the product page.
Safe and easy to use
You can install the Ark 40 yourself, without an installer or connection. Extinguish by placing the closing pin on the burner. Maintenance is minimal: no ash or soot is released, so wiping clean is usually sufficient.
Optional additions
For the Ark 40, you can choose optional glasswork, which acts as a shield around the flame for extra safety and allows the fire to burn more calmly. You can also order a black burner instead of the standard stainless steel version, a winter cover for the colder months, or a protective cover to keep the table looking good for longer. These additions can be selected separately on the product page.

Yes. The wide rim of the Ark 40 around the fire pit is wide enough to place glasses, a bottle, or decorations. During the day, it serves as a stylish coffee or side table; in the evening, it transforms into a fire table with a live flame.
Can I use the Ark 40 indoors?
The Ark 40 is standard for outdoor use. For indoor use, the Indoor conversion kit (€158) is required. Minimum indoor room size: 116 m³. Always ensure adequate ventilation.
How long does the Ark 40 burn per filling?
The AB8 burner has a capacity of 8 litres, providing more than 8 hours of fire per filling.
In which colours is the Ark 40 available?
In four finishes: Beige, Black, Grey, and Teakwood (real teak). The Teakwood version comes standard with protective glass.
What is Fluid™ concrete technology?
The Ark 40 is made of concrete composite with Fluid™ technology: eight times stronger than regular concrete, stain and impact resistant, and resistant to UV radiation and rain. Suitable for permanent outdoor use.
How do I protect the Ark 40 outdoors?
Use the protective cover on the burner when not in use. For prolonged outdoor storage, the winter cover is available. In case of snowfall, the winter cover is required for the warranty.
Is protective glass included as standard?
Only with the Teakwood version. For other colours, the protective glass can be ordered optionally.
Can I also order a black burner?
Yes. The optional black burner replaces the standard stainless steel burner for a monochrome look.
What bio-ethanol should I use?
Use PureFlames bio-ethanol with 96.6% purity.
