A horizontal reinforcing beam connects the legs approximately 15 to 20 cm from the ground, ensuring the bench remains sturdy. The design is purely functional, without superfluous frills, and that's precisely what makes it timeless.
The teak wood has a warm honey-colored to light brown hue and shows the natural variations that are characteristic of real wood. Knots, small cracks, and color differences make each piece unique. The bench is untreated or only lightly oiled, ensuring the coarse wood structure and grains remain clearly visible. For maintenance, an occasional damp cloth and a drop of teak or hardwood oil suffice.

Teak is van nature rijk aan olie, waardoor het goed tegen vocht en temperatuurverschillen kan en weinig onderhoud vraagt. De kleur is warm goudbruin en wordt zonder olie langzaam zilvergrijs; wil je de warme tint houden, dan olie je het hout een of twee keer per jaar.

Binnen de serie Blora kies je uit 60 cm, 120 cm, 140 cm, 150 cm en 160 cm, zodat je precies de maat kiest die bij je ruimte past. De losse maten staan bij Meer uit deze serie.
Kan ik de poef als bijzettafel gebruiken?
Ja, met een dienblad erop wordt een poef een salon- of bijzettafel; kies een model met een vlakke, stevige bovenkant. Bij Meer uit deze serie vind je vaak een bijpassende bank of fauteuil in dezelfde stof.
Welke hoogte past bij mijn bank of eettafel?
Als voetenbank kies je dezelfde hoogte als je zitting, meestal 40 tot 45 cm. Als extra zitplaats aan de eettafel kies je een bankje van 45 tot 48 cm hoog. In de hal is 45 cm ideaal om zittend schoenen aan te trekken.

Stofzuigen en vlekken deppen met een vochtige doek. Velvet borstel je af en toe op in de richting van de pool; kunstleer veeg je af met een vochtige doek.
