FadingWorld 8263

Refined anthracite forms the base of this Louis de Poortere rug with its characteristic vintage medallion at the center. The classic ornament shines in soft cream and gray tones, while decorative corner embellishments and a sophisticated border complete the traditional design. The subtle color variations give this flatweave rug an elegant vintage look.

Louis de Poortere stands for more than 100 years of Belgian craftsmanship, and that's evident in every detail of this flatweave rug. Flat woven means thin in profile but sturdy in use, ideal for high-traffic areas. The colors are integrated directly into the weave, ensuring they retain their intensity even after years of use.

Perfect choice for living rooms where you want a classic accent without dominating the space. In dining rooms and bedrooms too, this medallion design provides atmospheric elegance. Combine with modern furniture for an exciting contrast or with classic pieces for a timeless look.

Choose 140 x 200 cm for under a small seating area, 170 x 240 cm fits nicely under a double bed. For large sofas, we recommend 200 x 280 cm or larger. The smallest size, 80 x 150 cm, is perfect as an accent rug in the hallway or next to the bed.

Suitable for underfloor heating up to 27 degrees and easy to maintain by vacuuming. For thorough cleaning, you can have it professionally cleaned or follow our rug care advice. The flat profile ensures that dirt cannot penetrate deeply.
