With a width of 42 cm, a depth of 39.5 cm, and a height of 85.5 cm, the Vista 500 is narrower and taller than other models in the Ecosy line. The rounded corners at the top give the stove a slightly softer, more modern look than the angular Windsor 7 or Panoramic. Below the firebox is an open compartment for stacking firewood, which adds a warm, natural look without the wood actually being used for burning. Weighing 65 kilos and featuring a cast iron door, the fireplace feels sturdy and solid despite its slender form.

How this Bio-ethanol Fireplace Works

The Vista 500 operates with an integrated bio-ethanol burner system: an absorbent material in a stainless steel burner unit absorbs the fuel and allows it to evaporate in a controlled manner. This results in an even, safe combustion without smoke or odors. With a burner capacity of approximately 1 liter, the fireplace burns for about 3 to 4 hours per filling, with a heat output of up to 3 kW. The single-sided fire view through the large glass pane provides a clear view of the flames. There is no adjustable flame: the burner is either open or closed.

No Chimney or Gas Connection Required

Since the Vista 500 does not require a flue gas exhaust or chimney, installation is simple, both for freestanding placement and for use in an existing chimney breast. You don't connect anything and don't need to arrange a permit.

You can install the Vista 500 yourself, without a professional installer. Maintenance is minimal: no ash or soot is released, so a simple wipe is usually sufficient. If you use a ceramic log set, never place it above the fire, but next to it.
