Because they catch the light differently per rib, a shading effect is created that gives the color depth. It is by far the most tactile fabric in the collection. Tilia weighs 420 grams per square meter and achieves 90,000 to 100,000 abrasion cycles on the Martindale test, making it amply suitable for intensive daily use in a busy household. The fabric has been tested for cigarette glow and carries the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 quality mark.

What's inside the Teddy?

Behind the soft upholstery lies a solid beech wood frame. The no-sag spring system spans the full width of the seat, ensuring that your weight is evenly distributed without hard spots. The H4 cold foam filling is firm enough to maintain the full shape of the Teddy and bounces back after each use. A dacron top layer makes the sitting experience soft upon initial contact. The construction comes with a 5-year warranty.

How do you care for a corduroy sofa?

Occasionally brush the ribs gently with a soft brush, always in the direction of the rib. Blot spilled liquids immediately with a dry cloth and work from the outside in. For stubborn stains, use a suitable textile cleaner. This corduroy fabric is not machine washable. Vacuum the sofa with a soft brush attachment and keep it out of bright direct sunlight.
