Platform Bed Adore Chique Beige – 160x200 cm – Incl. Mattress

Low, serene, and sculptural: the Adore Chic Beige Platform Bed is a 160x200 cm platform bed with an enclosed wingback design. The tall headboard flows into continuous side panels, ending in the footboard, immediately commanding attention. The upholstery of thick, warm, and woolly teddy bouclé completes its luxurious, cocooning character.

A Bed Without Legs

This bed rests directly on the floor without legs, featuring a frame height of 40 cm and a sleeping height of 56 cm. A low bed feels secure and makes your mattress the focal point of the room. The frame extends 10 cm on each side, giving the platform its generous, framed appearance.

The Headboard Takes Center Stage

A characteristic feature of this model is its enclosed wingback design: the tall headboard flows into continuous side panels, ending in the footboard. Vertical channel stitching covers the entire inner and outer surfaces, creating a soft cocoon for sleeping. The headboard is 105 cm high, 250 cm wide, and 20 cm thick. It is delivered in two parts, which is convenient for narrow staircases and doorways. It extends 35 cm beyond the frame on both sides.

Includes Footboard

The 20 cm thick and 60 cm high footboard completes the cocoon at the foot end: together with the continuous side panels, the bed embraces you from all sides and keeps your duvet neatly in place.

Includes Slatted Bases

This platform bed comes with two separate slatted bases. The resilient slats support your mattress and ensure ventilation underneath, which is important for a fresh and dry bed. The slatted bases are recessed 10 cm into the frame, keeping your mattress firmly in place.

Includes Adore Mattress

This version includes the matching Adore pocket spring mattress, 26 cm high. With 500 pocket springs per m2, divided into 7 comfort zones, your body is supported in precisely the right places. The core combines 13 cm of pocket springs with 5 cm of hybrid cold foam HR50 on both sides, providing both resilience and pressure relief. The sleeping comfort is firm, and the Tencel cover, which is removable and washable, keeps you effortlessly fresh.

Fresh and Anti-Allergic

The Adore mattress is dust mite resistant, and the entire frame is finished with an anti-allergenic treatment. This gives dust mites and common allergens little chance, ensuring you wake up feeling fresher.

Materials and Finish

The shade is best described as warm off-white with a creamy undertone. This warm hue effortlessly combines with linen, light wood, and green. Everything is fully upholstered all around. Between the frame and the fabric, there is a layer of polyether foam with Dacron polyester, which makes the upholstery soft and full.

The Sizes at a Glance

At 160 cm wide, two people can sleep comfortably; a 160x200 cm double bed is the most popular size for good reason. When measuring, note the difference between mattress size and bed size: the mattress measures 160x200 cm, but for the complete bed, allow for approximately 250 cm wide and 240 cm long. The bed can bear a load of up to 130 kg per person. This way, you create an upholstered bed that, as a low bed frame, brings tranquility to your bedroom.

How to Keep it Beautiful

This woolly fabric requires little maintenance: vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and keep the fabric lint-free. Dab stains immediately with a slightly damp cloth, without rubbing. Air your mattress regularly to keep it fresh longer.
