Platform Bed Adore Chic Beige – 160x200 cm – Mattress Not Included

The Adore Chic Beige Platform Bed in 160x200 cm brings the trend of low sleeping to your bedroom: a platform bed that rests directly on the floor without legs, upholstered with thick teddy bouclé, warm and woolly. A distinctive feature is its enclosed wingback design: the high headboard seamlessly transitions into the footboard via continuous side panels.

Low Sleeping: The Platform Bed

This bed stands directly on the floor without legs, with a frame height of 40 cm and a sleeping height of 56 cm. That low silhouette, known from Japandi and Wabi-Sabi styles, gives your bedroom more optical height and a serene, uncluttered atmosphere. The frame extends 10 cm on each side, giving the platform its generous, framed character.

Design That Sets the Tone

A striking feature is an enclosed wingback design: the high headboard flows into the footboard via continuous side panels. Vertical channel stitching covers the entire inner and outer surface, creating a soft cocoon-like sleeping experience. The headboard is 105 cm high, 250 cm wide, and 20 cm thick. It is delivered in two parts, convenient for narrow staircases and doorways. It extends 35 cm beyond the frame on both sides.

Includes Footboard

The 20 cm thick and 60 cm high footboard closes the cocoon at the foot end: together with the continuous side panels, the bed embraces you from all sides and keeps your duvet neatly in place.

Includes Slatted Bed Bases

This platform bed comes with two separate slatted bed bases. The resilient slats support your mattress and provide ventilation from below, which is important for a fresh and dry bed. The slatted bed bases are recessed 10 cm into the frame, ensuring your mattress stays firmly in place.

Choose Your Own Mattress

This version is supplied as a bed frame without a mattress, allowing you to choose your ideal 160x200 cm mattress. A mattress approximately 20 to 26 cm thick looks best in terms of proportions. Do you already have a good mattress? Then it can simply be used with this bed.

Fabric, Color, and Finish

The color is a warm off-white with a cream undertone. The warm hue combines effortlessly with linen, light wood, and green. The bed is fully upholstered all around. Between the frame and the fabric is a layer of polyether foam with dacron polyester, which makes the upholstery soft and full.

Dimensions That Are Right

The queen-size dimension of 160x200 cm is the most popular among double beds in the Netherlands: spacious for two, suitable for most bedrooms. Good to know: 160x200 cm is the mattress size. For the complete bed, allow for approximately 250 cm wide and 240 cm long. So measure your bedroom to ensure this statement piece gets the space it deserves. The bed can support up to 130 kg per person. This fully upholstered bed, also known as a bedstead or bed frame, proves that less can indeed be more.

How to Keep It Looking Good

This woolly fabric requires little maintenance: vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and keep the fabric lint-free. Dab stains immediately with a lightly damp cloth, without rubbing.
