The Alma is MySofa's most organic series. While most corner sofas end in a rectangular divan, the Alma's is fully rounded on the outside. There's no armrest, making it easy to get on from any side and giving the sofa an open and airy look. A fine decorative stitch runs along the seams of the seat cushions, accentuating the shape. The base is upholstered to the floor, ensuring the sofa sits calmly in the room instead of on visible legs.

How comfortable is this sofa?

The configuration consists of a 2.5-seater with the divan on the right, providing seating for four to five people. With a seat height of 46 cm, it's easy to get up, and the seat depth of 58 cm gives you plenty of room to lean back. The armrest is 58 cm high and 21 cm wide, just enough for your cup of coffee or an open book. Matching decorative cushions, 45 by 45 cm, can be ordered separately for €29.95 each.

Chenille Trenza: what does the fabric look and feel like?

The upholstery is chenille from Polish weaver Lech Fabrics. Chenille owes its character to the yarn: it catches the light differently, keeping the color vibrant and never flat. Trenza has a subtle mottled gradient and a soft sheen, without ribs or loops. The fabric is 100% polyester and weighs 430 grams per square meter. It achieves 50,000 abrasion cycles on the Martindale test, which corresponds to normal daily use in the living room. The WaterStop treatment ensures that spilled liquids remain on the fabric for a while instead of immediately soaking in, allowing you to gently dab them away. The fabric has also been tested for cigarette glow.

How is the MySofa Alma constructed?

Underneath the upholstery is a solid beech wood inner frame. The no-sag springs distribute your weight evenly across the entire seating area, so you won't feel any hard spots or sagging. The cold foam H4 filling springs back into shape after each use, and a dacron top layer gives the seat its soft finish. The legs are made of plastic and are concealed under the upholstery. The construction comes with a 5-year warranty.

How do you maintain a chenille sofa?

Regularly wipe the fabric with a slightly damp cloth. Immediately dab spilled liquids with a dry cloth and work from the outside in to prevent the stain from spreading. For stubborn stains, use a suitable textile cleaner. This chenille is not machine washable. Preferably, do not place the sofa in bright direct sunlight, as this will help the color remain even for years.

How do you combine a green corner sofa?

Deep green is a color that brings tranquility while also providing character. It looks best against an off-white or sand-colored wall, with a light wooden floor underneath. Combine with brass or gold in lighting and side tables; this contrast lifts the green. Decorative cushions in rust, ocher, or cream complete the look.
