The upholstery is Tilia, a wide corduroy fabric from Polish Davis Fabrics. The ribs are full and round, and feel velvety to the touch. Because they catch the light differently on each rib, a shadowing effect is created that gives the color depth. It is by far the most tactile fabric in the collection. Tilia weighs 420 grams per square meter and achieves 90,000 to 100,000 rubs on the Martindale test, making it amply suitable for intensive daily use in a busy household. The fabric has been tested for cigarette glow and carries the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification.

What's inside the Teddy?

Behind the soft upholstery is a solid beech wood frame. The no-sag spring system spans the full width of the seat and ensures that your weight is evenly supported, without hard spots. The H4 cold foam filling is firm enough to maintain the Teddy's full shape and springs back after each use. A top layer of dacron makes the seating experience soft on initial contact. You get a 5-year warranty on the construction.

How do you maintain a corduroy sofa?

Brush the ribs gently from time to time with a soft brush, always in the direction of the rib. Blot spilled liquids immediately with a dry cloth, working from the outside in. For stubborn stains, use a suitable textile cleaner. This corduroy fabric is not machine washable. Vacuum the sofa with a soft brush attachment and keep it out of bright direct sunlight.

How to combine a green corduroy sofa?

The natural green of Tilia 37 belongs in an interior with lots of wood, plants, and earthy tones. Against a sand-colored or off-white wall, the color looks best, with a light wooden floor underneath.
