The Blocks is the only MySofa series with loose back cushions. While other series have a fixed backrest, here you can shift, fluff, and arrange the cushions as you like. This gives the sofa a relaxed, almost nonchalant look. The elements are block-shaped and low, with no visible legs. This particular version also combines multiple fabrics and colors, making each element look subtly different.

How comfortable is this sofa?

This U-arrangement consists of five elements: a round lounge on the left, a 1.25-seater, a 1-seater, a corner element, and a round ottoman on the right. With a seat height of 42 cm and an overall height of 80 cm, this is the lowest sofa in the range, ensuring your living room maintains an open feel. You can arrange the loose back cushions exactly as you find comfortable. Matching decorative cushions can be ordered separately.

What fabrics are on this sofa?

This Blocks sofa features a deliberate mix. The main element and the lounge section are upholstered in Racer, a fine corduroy fabric made from chenille yarn with a soft sheen, in the colors hazel and linen. The corner element is made of Lodge Blossom, a fine bouclé with small, dense loops and a woolly appearance. The remaining elements are upholstered in Eddy, a soft chenille. Both Racer and Lodge achieve 80,000 abrasion cycles or more and are machine washable at 30 degrees, making this sofa extremely practical despite its playful appearance.

How is the Blocks constructed?

The internal frame consists of solid beech wood with no-sag springs, the same system MySofa uses in all its series. The filling is cold foam H4, finished with a layer of dacron. A unique feature of the Blocks is that you receive free additional cushions with the seating elements: 55 x 45 cm for a 1-seater, 65 x 45 cm for a 1.25-seater, 80 x 45 cm for a 1.5-seater and for the corner element, and 110 x 45 cm for a 2-seater. This sofa is delivered assembled. You receive a 5-year warranty on the construction.

How to care for this sofa?

The covers of Racer and Lodge are machine washable at 30 degrees. Wash them inside out and place them back on the sofa slightly damp; they will then fit snugly. Simply dab stains with a dry cloth in between washes. For the bouclé, be mindful of sharp objects like buckles and jewelry: if a loop comes out, push it back with a blunt object and never cut it.

How to style a multi-color sofa?

With a sofa that already brings color and texture, restraint is the best strategy. Keep walls and floors neutral in off-white, sand, or light wood, and let the sofa do the work. Choose one color from the mix and repeat it in a rug or a lamp to tie the whole look together. Avoid busy patterns in curtains or on the floor. A round coffee table in wood or travertine pairs well with the block-shaped elements and keeps pathways clear.
