This low GRID sideboard uses symmetry as a design principle: a grid of 3 rows with 6 compartments per row, most of which are spacious enough for binders, books, or records.

One compartment is deliberately kept slightly narrower than the rest, a subtle detail that gives the grid character without disrupting the symmetry.

The finish is environmentally friendly Koskisen HPL plywood in white, for a light, clean look.

Back panels in the outer corners keep the whole sturdy: the outer sides are connected with dowels and eccentric connectors, the inner walls with traditional wood joints.

An 8 cm plinth at the bottom neatly matches different types of skirting boards. With a height of 95 cm, a width of 191 cm, and a depth of 29 cm, this is a low, wide piece of furniture that also works as a room divider or TV cabinet.
