Platform Bed Melody Pearl Beige – 140x200 cm – Incl. Mattress

The Melody Platform Bed in Pearl Beige, 140x200 cm, brings the low-sleeping trend to your bedroom: a platform bed without legs, resting directly on the floor, upholstered in thick ribbed teddy fabric (faux fur), 430 grams per m2. It features a low platform with thick vertical ribs of soft ribbed teddy fabric, with a row of playful bobbles along the edges.

Low sleeping: the platform bed

This bed stands directly on the floor without legs, with a frame height of 34 cm and a sleeping height of 49 cm. This low silhouette, known from Japandi and Wabi-Sabi styles, gives your bedroom more optical height and a serene, uncluttered atmosphere.

Design that sets the tone

The eye-catcher is a low platform with thick vertical ribs of soft ribbed teddy fabric, with a row of playful bobbles along the edges. The wide rib structure, soft as faux fur, extends around the entire platform, making the bed a tactile statement. The headboard is 86 cm high, 182 cm wide, and 20 cm thick.

Generous storage space under the slatted base

Beneath the sleeping surface lies the great asset of this storage bed. The complete slatted base smoothly tilts upwards thanks to powerful 1000 Newton gas springs. A safety lock holds the base open while you retrieve or store bedding. The storage space covers almost the entire bed surface: ideal for duvets, pillows, and seasonal items.

Includes Adore mattress

This version includes the matching 26 cm high Adore pocket sprung mattress. With 500 pocket springs per m2, divided into 7 comfort zones, your body is supported in exactly the right places. The core combines 13 cm of pocket springs with 5 cm of hybrid cold foam HR50 on both sides, for resilience and pressure relief in one. The sleeping comfort is firm, and the Tencel cover, removable and washable, effortlessly keeps it fresh.

Fresh and anti-allergenic

The Adore mattress is dust mite resistant, and the entire frame is finished with an anti-allergenic treatment. This gives dust mites and common allergens little chance, ensuring you wake up feeling fresher.

Fabric, color, and finish

The color is a warm pearl white with a light cream undertone. Pearl beige can be beautifully combined with soft earth tones, wood, and white. The bed is fully upholstered all around. Between the frame and the fabric, there is a layer of polyether foam with Dacron polyester, which makes the upholstery soft and full.

Correct dimensions

A 140x200 cm double bed gives you noticeably more space than a single bed, without dominating your bedroom. Good to know: 140x200 cm is the mattress size. For the complete bed, calculate approximately 180 cm wide and 240 cm long. So, measure your bedroom to ensure this statement piece gets the space it deserves. The bed can support up to 130 kg per person. This makes it a full-fledged bed with storage space: sleeping and storage in a low bed frame.

How to keep it beautiful

This woolly fabric requires little maintenance: vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and keep the fabric lint-free. Dab stains immediately with a slightly damp cloth, without rubbing. Air your mattress regularly to keep it fresh longer.
